NKU Men's Team Finishes 12th in the National Championship
May 20, 2005
NKU men's golf team, coached by Eagle Creek Country Club
professional Daryl Landrum, finished twelfth in the nation at the NCAA
Division II Men's Golf Championship. The
Norse completed the 72-hole competition with a team score of 1187
(+51). NKU individual scores were as follows, David Shearer 296
(+12, tied for 37th), Mark Krahe 300 (+16, tied 46th), Andrew Jewell
301 (+17, tied for 53rd), Curtis Phelps 305 (+21, tied for 65th) and
Jonathan Ehlen 307 (+21, tied for 74th).
South Carolina-Aiken won the Division II national championship with
a 22-over-par 1158. The Championship was played at The Club at
Savannah Harbor in Savannah, Georgia.

NKU
sophomore finishes 23rd in NCAA Div II Women's Championship
May 14, 2005 (nku.edu) On the final day, NKU sophomore Bianca
Hutton carded a five-over-par 78, to finish at 318 (+26) tied for
23rd in the NCAA Division II Women's Golf
Championships. NKU senior Kim
Keyer-Scott's total of 328 (+36) left her in 39th place.
The Championship was played on the Championship Course at the
University of New Mexico in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
Rollins College, from Winter Park, Florida, won the national
championship at 17-over-par. Individual champion was Melissa
Sneller of Grand Valley State (MI) with an even par 292. [For

Lawrence
leads NKU Women's Win In Kruempelman Cup.
April
19, 2005. Northern Kentucky University's
women's golf team won the Kruempelman Cup at Eagle Creek over the
University of Dayton. NKU freshmen (and Eagle Creek member) Alicia
Lawrence (pictured at left) took top individual honors with a
73. Another Eagle Creek member, NKU senior Michelle Bellish

NKU
Men Win Eagle Creek Golf Classic.
April 19, 2005. Northern
Kentucky University's men's golf team won the 2005 Eagle Creek
Golf Classic with a two-under par team total of 278.
Bellarmine University finished second at 288, and the University
of Dayton finished with a 304. NKU sophomore David
Shearer (pictured at right) fired a four-under par 66 to win
